Windy City Pet Expo returns to Chicago area
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Pet owners and their four-legged family members will be in Schaumburg on July 25, 2015, celebrating the annual Windy City Pet Expo. The event brings some of the top pet products, experts, and celebrities from around the country. The Windy City Pet Expo offers a great chance to socialize your pets with other animals. The event also teaches people how to become the best pet owners possible, with help from demonstrations and exhibitions.
The Windy City Pet Expo is free. Doors are open from 10:00am - 6:00pm at the Schaumburg Convention Center. National spokesperson Shorty Rossi, of "Pit Boss" fame, and Deirdre Franklin, founder of Pinups for Pitbulls, will both attend. There will also be an adoption area with more than 200 rescue pets available. Pet owners will also be able to take advantage of low-cost immunizations, discounted micro-chippings, and free nail trims.
Shorty Rossi, star of "Pit Boss" on Animal Planet, and Nicholas D'Andrea, with the Windy City Reptile Group, showed off a few of the other scaly guests attending the 2015 show, on the ABC 7 Weekend Morning show.
