Garcia apparently changes stance on Obama Library site

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Jesus "Chuy" Garcia is apparently changing his stance on where to build the Obama library, as one group is accusing him of going against their choice.

The Washington Park Consortium claims Garcia has not supported its plan to build the library in Washington Park on the South Side. It would sit on city park land, which in the past, Garcia said he would oppose.

On Monday, Garcia told reporters he would back an Obama Library no matter the location. The group says he needs to make up his mind.

President Obama's foundation is expected to decide on a location soon. New York and Hawaii are also in the running for the library.
