CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel will be officially sworn in to office for a second term on Monday, but Saturday he helped kick off inaugural weekend with a day of service at a school in the West Town neighborhood.

The mayor first had some one-on-one time with students at the Rudolph Learning Center in the 100-block of North Paulina.
He and community members then helped beautify and clean up the area around the school.
Residents and aldermen participated in similar clean-up projects in all on 50 wards today.
