MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Republican candidate for Illinois governor Bruce Rauner campaigned Saturday afternoon in the north and northwest suburbs.
Rauner campaigned in Fox Lake, Palatine, Glenview and Libertyville, and earlier Saturday, greeted people at a restaurant in Morton Grove.
Rauner's opponent, incumbent Governor Pat Quinn, joined more than 900 union workers at a convention in Rosemont.
The workers' union represents public service employees in Illinois.
Governor Quinn continued to push his agenda to raise the minimum wage.
