CHICAGO (WLS) -- Bruce Rauner, Republican candidate for Illinois governor, has agreed to take part in eight debates and candidate forums before the November election. Governor Quinn had already agreed to be a part of the events.
The first will be the Illinois Agricultural Legislative Roundtable Candidate Forum on Aug. 27. They will also square off in a debate sponsored by the League of Women voters on ABC7 Eyewitness News in October.

Urban League/Business Leadership Council/DuSable Museum Debate - Thursday, Oct. 14
Lake County Municipal League Candidate Forum - date pending
League of Women Voters /ABC7 Chicago Debate - date pending
