Rauner walks in Pilsen's Mexican Independence Day Parade

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Republican candidate for governor Bruce Rauner walked Saturday in Pilsen's Mexican Independence Day Parade, talking to people along the way.

"We're shaking as many hands as we can and spread our message about restoring our economy, get great jobs in every neighborhood. Invest in our schools, we have world class schools," Rauner said.

The parade is one of three celebrating Mexican independence taking place this weekend in Chicago.
