Scott Walker campaigns in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker made a campaign stop in Chicago on Monday. The Wisconsin governor toured the state before greeting supporters at the Billy Goat Tavern in River North.

Gov. Walker told the crowd that unlike other candidates, he will not speak about the other candidates negatively. He said he only wants to make his agenda clear, which includes financial reform and giving more power back to the states.

Walker also touted the low unemployment rate, low property taxes and the balanced budget in Wisconsin.

"I think in the end, people want someone who's going to stand up to the big government special interests. And if you want someone who's going to take power out of the hands of the big government special interests in Washington and send it back to the hardworking people here in Illinois, and Chicago, and places all across this state. When 100,000 protesters couldn't stop us from doing the right thing, and that was really not about unions - it was about transferring power back to the hardworking people of our state - I think Americans want someone who's going to fight and win," Walker said.

Walker says if he is in charge, he will end the current agreement with Iran the first day he is in office. He also said he will give more power to the states by limiting government entities, such as the Environmental Protection Agency.

Walker will attend a fundraiser Monday night before heading to Philadelphia on Tuesday.
