Vote 2014 Candidate Debates
CHICAGO (WLS) -- In run-up to the November election, ABC 7 Chicago will be the home for four candidate debates, continuing the station's long-standing tradition of producing and broadcasting political debates. During the month of October, ABC 7 will partner with the League of Women Voters of Illinois to present four debates on-air, online and on digital channel 7.2, including the Governor's Debate, U.S. Senate Debate and two Congressional Debates - for the 10th and 11th Districts. Univision Chicago WGBO will join the partnership for the Governor and Senate Debates.

GOVERNOR'S DEBATE: MONDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2014
Gubernatorial candidates Patrick Quinn and Bruce Rauner squared off in the final debate before the election during VOTE 2014: DEBATE IN THE RACE FOR GOVERNOR. The debate was moderated by ABC 7 Eyewitness News Anchor/Reporter Ron Magers.
The debate will air on ABC 7's main channel on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:35 PM. The hour-long debate will be presented commercial free.
The debate will also air on Univision Chicago WGBO at 10 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. It will be featured on-demand on Univision chicago.com and will be simulcast on Univision America Radio 1200 AM.
ABC 7 Eyewitness News Political Reporter Charles Thomas; ABC 7 Political Analyst Laura Washington and Univision Chicago WGBO Reporter Erika Maldonado will serve on the panel questioning the candidates.
SENATE DEBATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22
Illinois Candidates for U.S. Senate Dick Durbin and Jim Oberweis debated live in ABC 7 Studios. The debate was moderated by Eyewitness News Anchor/Reporter Kathy Brock and will be featured live on the station's digital channel 7.2.
The debate will air on ABC 7's main channel on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:35 PM. The hour-long debate will be presented commercial free.
ABC 7 Eyewitness News Political Reporter Charles Thomas; ABC 7 Political Analyst Laura Washington and Univision Chicago WGBO Reporter Enrique Rodriguez will serve on the panel questioning the candidates.
The debate will also air Saturday, October 25, 2014 on Univision Chicago WGBO at 10 AM and will be featured on-demand on Univisionchicago.com and will be simulcast on Univision America Radio 1200 AM.
CONGRESSIONAL DEBATES: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2014

Candidates for the 10th Congressional District of Illinois, Brad Schneider and Robert Dold faced off live at 11:00 AM in the ABC 7 Studios. ABC 7 Eyewitness News Anchor/Reporter Alan Krashesky moderated the debate.
