CHICAGO (WLS) -- In run-up to the March 15 primary election, ABC 7 Chicago was the home for two, LIVE debates, continuing the station's long-standing tradition of producing and broadcasting political debates. ABC 7 partnered with the League of Women Voters of Illinois and Univision Chicago to present hour-long, commercial-free debates between the Democratic candidates running for U.S. Senate, Friday, February 19 and Cook County State's Attorney, Friday, February 26. Both debates were live at 7:00 PM on abc7chicago.com and ABC 7's digital channel 7.2. The U.S. Senate debate was also seen on ABC 7's main channel at 10:35 PM on February 19 and the Cook County State's Attorney debate at 11 AM on Sunday, February 28.

Democratic candidates for Cook County State's Attorney, Anita Alvarez, Kim Foxx and Donna More, faced off in a debate moderated by Eyewitness News Anchor/Reporter Alan Krashesky. The debate was streamed live at 7:00 PM on abc7chicago.com and was featured live on the station's digital channel 7.2. It is on-demand on the ABC 7 Chicago website.
The debate will air on ABC 7's main channel on Sunday, February 28 at 11:00 AM. The hour-long debate will be presented commercial-free.
Univision Chicago WGBO Channel 66 will air the debate at 10 AM and will be featured on Univision Radio via Univision America 1200 AM.

ABC 7 Eyewitness News Political Reporter Charles Thomas and Univision Chicago News Anchor Erika Maldonado will serve on the panel questioning the candidates.
Democratic U.S. Senate candidates Tammy Duckworth, Napoleon Harris and Andrea Zopp will square off in a live debate at 7:00 PM at ABC 7 studios. The debate will be moderated by ABC 7 Eyewitness News Anchor/Reporter Ron Magers and will be streamed live at 7:00 PM on abc7chicago.com and featured live on the station's digital channel 7.2. It will also be available on-demand on the ABC 7 Chicago website.
