Willie Wilson supporters call for election board transparency

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Supporters of mayoral candidate Dr. Willie Wilson gathered at the Chicago Board of Elections on Monday. They are calling for complete transparency in election board proceedings.

Wilson is trying to get on the ballot but is facing petition challenges from Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The group wants the board to fully explain any decision that would remove Wilson.

The election board met Monday morning to discuss the challenge to Wilson's petitions. It's unclear what, if any, decision it made. There will be another hearing this Friday.
