1 dead after RV fire on South Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was found dead after an RV fire in Roseland Sunday night, Chicago police said.

The incident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. in the 10700-block of South LaSalle Street.

Police said a man was found unresponsive inside with severe burns and smoke inhalation. The man was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
