CHICAGO (WLS) -- Plans are coming together for the installation of Blase Cupich as Chicago's next Catholic Archbishop.
Earlier this month Francis Cardinal George introduced Cupich, who has been the bishop of the diocese in Spokane, Washington.
The new archbishop will be installed in a ceremony on Tuesday November 18 at 2 p.m.
Archdiocese officials estimate that the service will take about two hours.
The day before, on Monday, November 17, there will be an official "turning over of the cathedral" event. Archbishopo-Designate Cupich will knock on the door of Holy Name Cathedral, he will be let in and given the keys.
