Eastern Orthodox Christians hold Christmas services

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Eastern Orthodox Christians who follow the Julian calendar gathered Tuesday for a Christmas service.

Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral is one of several churches holding services across the Chicago area.

Tuesday is Christmas Eve, as Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January each year, according to the Julian calendar.
