CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel says he plans to work with Chicago's new Roman Catholic archbishop as a spiritual and community leader for all Chicagoans.
At a breakfast Thursday morning, the mayor and the city's top leaders welcomed Archbishop Blase Cupich to Chicago with a message of unity.
"I hope I can serve, and the Catholic Church can serve, that movement which stretches across boundaries of geography, economics, race and language and cultures, and the way of life, to bring people together," Cupich said.
