Black Women's Expo kicks off at McCormick Place

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The annual Black Women's Expo kicked off Friday at Chicago's McCormick Place.

It's designed as a forum for women to discuss and explore solutions to issues they face in their daily lives.

The expo is now in its 20th year. ABC 7 is proud to be a media sponsor.

ABC7's Cheryl Burton and Tanja Babich were there to greet participants and sign autographs. Ron Magers and Val Warner of Windy City Live also took part in the opening day ceremonies.
