Facebook users swoon over man's mugshot

STOCKTON, Calif. (WLS) -- A felon's mugshot might be the most popular picture ever for a California police department.

Jeremy Meeks, 30, is being held on $900,000 bail for six felony counts of street terrorism and weapons charges in Stockton, Calif., but that hasn't stopped Facebookers from swooning over his looks.

Meeks' mugshot has over 23,000 likes in less than a day, with thousands of comments about his attractive appearance.

"He can do his time at my place," one commenter wrote. "I think he needs a strip search," said another.

Some commenters have even suggested raising money to pay his nearly million-dollar bail.

Meeks is due back in court on Friday.
