Iraqi refugee and University of Chicago student Hazim Avdal

Hazim Avdal, an Iraqi refugee, stopped by "Windy City LIVE" to share his personal story of escaping the country in 2014.

Avdal, now studying computer science at the University of Chicago, was sponsored by George and Amal Clooney and in part, through the Clooney Foundation for Justice.
