CHICAGO (WLS) -- More than 57,000 rubber ducks were dropped into the Chicago River Thursday for the 10th annual Rubber Ducky Derby to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
Supporters could adopt one duck or dozens, all for a chance to win a prize - but the real winner is Special Olympics and the athletes.
Event organizers said a record number of rubber duckies were sold this year.
According to the initial numbers, more than $350,000 was raised.
