Students get bikes, scooters at Logan Square elementary school

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thursday was a day to remember for 100 students at Funston Elementary in Logan Square who got free bikes and scooters as part of National Random Acts of Kindness Day, which is Friday.

Their teachers were also given tickets to sporting events.

The event was organized by a group called Buddy's Helpers, which brings together Chicago-area high school student athlete and coaches for community service.
