Suburban bar lets motorcycles indoors during rain

GAGES LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- A sports bar in the north suburbs decided that a few tire tracks on the floor were better than leaving their customers out in the rain.

Jesse Oaks employees allowed about two dozen motorcycles inside their bar when severe weather swept through Gages Lake, near Waukegan.

Employee Sean Smith says half of the bikers left when it started to rain, but the rest decided to wait it out in the bar.

Several dozen riders had converged at the bar following a police K-9 memorial ride earlier in the day.
