The Philadelphia 76ers are increasing their efforts to acquire the No. 3 pick from the Boston Celtics in Thursday night's NBA draft, league sources tell ESPN.
Numerous rivals described the 76ers as the most active team in circulation, with a trade involving Nerlens Noel looking more and more likely.
The Sixers, as ESPN first reported earlier this month, also have been aggressively trying to move Jahlil Okafor and, according to sources, are prepared to trade either Okafor or Noel -- or both -- to meet their draft objectives.
If the Sixers are successful in prying the No. 3 pick from the Celtics, the move will likely enable Philadelphia to choose between Buddy Hield, Kris Dunn and Jamal Murray.
The Sixers, who also hold the No. 1 pick, worked out Ben Simmons on Tuesday, and, according to sources, the organization has told Simmons it will draft himfirst overall.
