The clock continues to tick on Chris Johnson's tenure with the Tennessee Titans. The long-presumed divorce is coming, the running back's agent said, he just doesn't know when.

"I think it's a matter of time before Chris won't be with the Titans," Johnson's agent, Joel Segal, said Wednesday on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Tennessee's offseason program starts Monday, and Johnson has told The Tennessean he intends to be there.

That could serve as an unofficial deadline for the Titans, who would be on the hook for Johnson's entire $8 million salary should he suffer an injury that would cost him the season.

The Titans have tried to trade Johnson, but a contract with remaining base salaries of $8 million this year, $8 million in 2015 and $7 million in 2016 is an issue for potential trade partners just as it is for Tennessee.

Johnson has said he won't take less money.

Segal is expecting to find out just what the market thinks Johnson is worth.
