TORONTO -- Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia will likely miss the remainder of the series against the Toronto Blue Jays as he recovers from a sore right knee.
Garcia, who left Monday's game at Toronto in the second inning with a recurrence of soreness, will also likely skip batting practice to keep him off the artificial turf and rest the knee, manager Robin Ventura said Tuesday.
Ventura said that Garcia, who is batting .327 with four homers and 18 RBIs, hopefully can stay off the disabled list.
"As of right now, we're going to see if we can get him off the turf and give him a few days of not doing anything here and see how he looks when we got to Baltimore," Ventura told reporters.
