A year ago, the NFL took its "Football is Family" slogan in an interesting direction with a 60-second "Super Bowl Babies" spot that aired during the big game.
Now the league is back at it with a 30-second "Super Bowl Baby Legends" ad, featuring toddler versions of some of the biggest heroes in the game's history.
Included are a sunglasses-wearing, mustachioed Mike Ditka, complete with a Bears sweater vest; a wild-haired Joe Namath draped in a fur coat; a hoodie-wearing Bill Belichick with an expression to match; an eccentrically dressed Von Miller with a cowboy hat and glasses; and, of course, Vince Lombardi donning a fedora and trenchcoat.
There are also representations of Michael Irvin and Marshawn Lynch (or wait, is it Richard Sherman?), as well asAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman standing next to the Lombardi trophy. See for yourself:
Falcons fans will hope Freeman -- or another Atlanta hero -- will have a place in future commercials, which would mean a win Sunday and the franchise's first Super Bowl title. If not, perhaps we'll be seeing even more of a scowling Belichick baby.
