Chicago Bears quarterback Mike Glennon was throwing more than just footballs on Friday. Glennon threw out the ceremonial first pitch for theChicago Cubs'home game vs. thePittsburgh Pirates.

Glennon posted photos from the day, writing: "Unbelievable experience today at Wrigley! Thank you to the @cubs for having me!"

The pitch might not have been a strike, but rather high -- and we'll take that as a good sign, especially for Glennon's new offensive targets.

With Jay Cutler out of the picture, Glennon is the Bears' new go-to under center. Bears general manager Ryan Pace made it clear that Glennon is the team's starting quarterback for 2017. However, that doesn't mean the team will pass on selecting a quarterback they can further develop from the draft.
