Plain and simple: Pat Connaughton can ball. And apparently, in any sport.

The Portland Trail Blazers guard tweeted out this video of himself throwing a football on a football field for 80 yards. A shirtless Connaughton kicks off his shoes before throwing the 80-foot bomb down the field. In his post he also went ahead and tagged the New England Patriots with the hashtag #NFLDraft2017? just to stir that pot.

This isn't the first time Connaughton has caught eyes with an athletic stunt. At the NBA draft combine, Connaughton registered a whopping 44 inches in the vertical jump, finishing just 1.5 inches short of the record, set by Kenny Gregory out of Kansas in 2001.

Keep in mind, Connaughton was also a pitcher at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles, where he played in the minors and received a signing bonus more than $400,000 dollars thanks to a 98 mph fastball.

So is the guy athletic? Yeah, you could say so. Will we be seeing him in the NFL or MLB anytime soon? Let's not get carried away.
