The Chicago Cubs buried a 108-year curse when they hoisted the sacred Commissioner's Trophy by winning the 2016 World Series over the Cleveland Indians. So, what's a trophy to do after winning the big title?

Why not pay a visit to a coach who knows a thing or two (or eight) about collecting precious hardware? Pat Summitt.

The Cubs' Double-A affiliate, the Tennessee Smokies, and the World Series trophy paid a visit to the University of Tennessee campus on Friday and, more specifically, to the statue of Summitt that was dedicated in November 2013. She died last June at age 64.

Summitt coached theTennessee Lady Vols basketball team to eight NCAA championships from 1974 to 2012. Summitt was the first NCAA coach to achieve 1,000 wins and has the most wins of any female college basketball coach in history with 1,098.
