CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's a great time to be a Chicago Cubs fan. The Cubs will lead off the National League Division Series at 8:15 p.m. Friday against either the New York Mets or San Francisco Giants at Wrigley Field.
But there was a celebration Tuesday morning at Harry Caray's in the city's River North, with special guests Dutchie Caray, Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg and actor Joel Murray.
On Saturday at Wrigley, the Cubs will play Game 2 at 7:08 p.m.
The NLDS will continue at the opposing team's field Monday with Game 3. If needed, the series will see a Game 4 Tuesday Oct. 11 and Game 5 Thursday Oct. 13. Times were only released for Game 1 and 2 as of 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Beginning on Sept. 7 registration opened for fans to enter the lottery to purchase tickets to the NLDS and NLCS. The registration period of the NLDS ended on Sept. 21. The registration period for the NLCS ends on Oct. 7.
