Instant Awesome: Patrick Kane gives up first-class seat to soldier

Patrick Kane might be a beast on the ice, but he made a class-act move on Wednesday.

While on an American Airlines flight, Kane gave up his first-class seat to a soldier who came on board.

After seeing his selfless act of kindness, American Airlines employee Teri Truss posted a tweet revealing what the Chicago Blackhawks star had done.

Naturally, her tweet went viral.

Showing respect and giving thanks toward the men and women who serve our country is one thing. Kane put those words into action on Wednesday.

And that, folks, is nothing short of awesome.
