CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Jackie Robinson West advanced to the Little League World Series with a 12-7 win over New Albany, Ind. Saturday.
Robinson West punched their ticket to Williamsport, Penn. after coming back from a five-run deficit. Cameron Buford hit a grand slam in the fifth inning.
Jackie Robinson West was the last Chicago team to reach the Little League World Series back in 1983. Three suburban teams have made it to the series since then, including Norridge in 1986, South Holland in 1992 and Lemont in 2006.
