Jackie Robinson West begins new season Sunday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Jackie Robinson West got a fresh start as this season's opening games were held Sunday morning at Jackie Robinson West Park.

Jackie Robinson West joined the Cal Ripken-Babe Ruth League after being stripped of their Little League World championship title last season when it was discovered that some of the players lived outside the legal boundaries of the district.

Once Little League International stripped the team of the title, many parents complained and called the act racist.
