Jake Arrieta makes good on College World Series bet, gets tattoo

Chicago Cubs pitchersJake Arrieta and Tommy La Stella made a friendly wager earlier this year when their alma maters, TCU and Coastal Carolina, respectively, faced off in the College World Series: The pitcher whose school lost had to get a tattoo of the winning school.

Coastal Carolina eliminated the Horned Frogs from the tournament, which meant Arrieta was going to get some new ink.

The 2015 Cy Young Award winner made good on the bet this week.

It was already a memorable season for the World Series champion Cubs, but Arrieta now has another reason to never forget 2016.
