Kaka scored in his return from injury and Orlando City stayed perfect at its new stadium with a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rapids.

Orlando has won all five of its home games since opening the new venue this season and own the best record in the league with 18 points from seven matches.

The Lions nearly took the lead in the second minute but Rapids keeper Zac MacMath, starting for the suspended Tim Howard, made a diving save to deny Antonio Nocerino.

Kaka, who was injured in the opening minutes of the season, came on at the hour mark and Orlando took the lead 10 minutes later with a rocket of a shot from Carlos Rivas.

And the Brazilian star added a goal of his own in stoppage time, tapping home after Cyle Larin's shot hit the post.

The Vancouver Whitecaps erased an early deficit to earn their first points on the road this season with a 2-1 win at the Montreal Impact.

Montreal lost striker Matteo Mancosu to injury after just five minutes, but Marco Donadel provided the lead four minutes later with a bouncing shot from 30 yards,

But Vancouver equalized 20 minutes after that when Andrew Jacobson sent home a volley from the edge of the box, and Cristian Techera completed the comeback with a good finish in the 79th minute.

Montreal forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel, who came on to replace Mancosu, had to leave the game himself after picking up an injury in the second half.

Osvaldo Alonso scored Seattle's third goal in a 13-minute stretch to help the Sounders rally for a 3-3 draw with the New England Revolution.

Trailing 3-0 with 15 minutes of regulation time remaining, Seattle midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro scored to spark the comeback.

Will Bruin cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 85th minute, and Alonso tied it in the 88th. Joevin Jones was credited with assists on two of the three goals, while Lodeiro and Gustav Svensson both helped on the final tally.

Revolution forward Juan Agudelo scored twice for New England. The Revolution took the lead in the 15th minute courtesy of a gaffe by Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei. Daigo Kobayashi's shot from well outside the penalty box was tame, but the shot was still able to sneak through Frei's body before rolling into the back of the net.

Agudelo scored on a header 11 minutes later, then made it 3-0 early in the second half when he finished off a New England counterattack.

The result extends Seattle's home unbeaten streak to 14 in regular season and playoff action dating back to last year, which ties the longest such mark in club history. New England is now winless in five matches away from home.

Brian Rowe had two saves for his first shutout of the season and the LA Galaxy played Philadelphia to a 0-0 draw, extending the Union's winless streak to 16 games.

The Union haven't won an MLS match, including a 3-1 loss to Toronto FC in the 2016 MLS Playoffs, since beating Sporting Kansas City 2-0 on Aug. 27, 2016.

Los Angeles, which has the second-fewest goals for in the Western Conference (eight) and just one goal in its last four matches, missed on a trio of opportunities, but Rowe made one leaping and one diving stop -- the latter on a long-distance blast by Haris Medunjanin in the 68th minute -- to preserve the clean sheet.

Philadelphia's Andre Blake had his second shutout of the season, including three saves.

The Galaxy is winless in its last three matches.

Jack Harrison's second goal of the night gave New York City FC a 3-2 win at Columbus Crew SC.

Harrison opened the scoring for NYCFC in the eighth minute by chipping the keeper from close range.

Columbus responded before the half-hour mark as Federico Higuain slammed the ball home on the half-volley, before Ola Kamara put the hosts ahead after halftime following a defensive miscue.

But 19-year-old Yangel Herrera brought NYCFC back level by heading home his first MLS goal in the 64th minute, then picked off a Crew pass deep in their own zone and laid it off for Harrison to score the winner.

Tesho Akindele scored his first goal in the 80th minute and FC Dallas rallied twice to draw with the Portland Timbers 2-2 in a battle of the top two teams in the Western Conference.

Dallas, which allowed just three goals in its first six games, limited Portland to six shots, two on goal. The Timbers, who had 18 goals in eight games, scored on both. That was enough to keep Portland two points above Dallas, the last remaining unbeaten team.

Fanendo Adi gave Portland a 1-0 lead at halftime, slipping his defender to head in David Guzman's free kick. Former Timber Maximiliano Urruti tied it in the 61st minute with his fourth goal, dribbling into space and hitting the top left corner over diving keeper Jeff Attinella.

Portland regained the lead 10 minutes later on the first MLS goal for Sebastian Blanco, who cut the ball back in the box before scoring at the near post, but Akindele turned in Hernan Grana cross to salvage a point.

Kemar Lawrence scored his first goal of the season in the 71st minute and the New York Red Bulls defeated the Chicago Fire 2-1 in Dax McCarty's return to Red Bull Arena.

Bradley Wright-Phillips' fourth goal of the season, from Daniel Royer in the 38th minute, opened the scoring for the Red Bulls.

Chicago leveled the game in the 59th minute because of a nifty spin move by McCarty -- who was traded to the Fire in the offseason after five and a half seasons with the Red Bulls -- splitting two defenders before feeding the ball left for Nemanja Nikolic's fifth goal of the season.

But the Red Bulls found the winner after a long feed forward from Damien Perrinelle went off the foot of defender Luis Solignac to the streaking Lawrence, who beat keeper Jorge Bava low to the far corner as Solignac scrambled to recover.

Tim Melia posted his MLS-leading fifth clean sheet, Benny Feilhaber and Dom Dwyer each scored and Sporting Kansas City beat Real Salt Lake3-0.

Near the top-right corner of the box, Feilhaber blasted a right-footed volley from a Graham Zusi pass just inside the far post to open the scoring in the 17th minute.

Dwyer won a long, arcing pass and then cut back to evade a defender before rifling a shot from just outside the box into the back of the net in the 51st minute, before Gerso Fernandes added a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Melia, who had eight clean sheets last season, has allowed just three goals this season for Sporting KC. Real Salt Lake has lost two in a row after winning two straight.

Florian Jungwirth scored the only goal as the San Jose Earthquakes ended their winless run with a 1-0 victory at Minnesota United.

Jungwith slid to turn the ball over the line in the 54th minute after the ball came back to him following a corner.

The Earthquakes had not won since the second game of the season on March 11 and went a span of seven games between victories.
