Lake Zurich boy with near-perfect bracket gets prize

LAKE ZURICH, Ill. (WLS) -- The Lake Zurich boy who had a nearly perfect basketball bracket is getting a gift from Best Buy after all.

Sam Holtz, 12, tied for the best bracket on ESPN.com after Duke's win on Monday night.

But because he wasn't 18, he was ineligible to win the grand prize: a $20,000 gift card to Best Buy. The electronics store felt bad, so they gave him $1,000 gift card instead.

Holtz says he's buying an Xbox for himself and an Xbox to donate to charity.
