CHICAGO -- Chicago Bearslinebacker Lamarr Houstonwas ruled out of the second half of Monday night's 29-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagleswith a knee injury that coach John Fox said "seems to be substantial.''
Houston clutched his left knee after he fell to the turf on a rush attempt at the 5:14 mark of the second quarter. The seventh-year NFL veteran stayed on the field for several minutes but eventually walked to the sideline accompanied by the Bears' medical team.
Also in Monday night's game, Bears safety Adrian Amos and nickel back Bryce Callahan were both ruled out with concussions in the third quarter, and starting nose tackle Eddie Goldman was carted off the field with an ankle injury early in the fourth.
Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler walked to the locker room with a right thumb injury in the third quarter and did not return, safety Chris Prosinski injured his right calf and running back Ka'Deem Carey strained a hamstring.
Houston, who led the Bears with eight sacks last year, tore his ACL celebrating a meaningless sack of Jimmy Garoppolo late in Chicago's 51-23 blowout loss in New England in October 2014.
