Las Vegas has Cubs with highest projected regular-season win total

The Chicago Cubs have the best odds to win the World Series at 7-2 and now have the highest projected regular-season win total at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

The first sportsbook in Vegas to release MLB over/unders, the Westgate went with 95.5 for the Cubs after opening them at 93.5 last year. The Atlantis Casino in Reno was the first sportsbook in Nevada to release MLB season win totals, on Feb. 10.

In the National League, the only other teams with win totals in the 90s are the Los Angeles Dodgers (94.5) and Washington Nationals (91.5).

Over in the American League, the Cleveland Indians (93.5) have the largest total in a relatively weak AL Central, while the Boston Red Sox (92.5) and Houston Astros (91.5) are the projected leaders for their respective divisions.

After opening at 80.5 wins last year, the Chicago White Sox have the second-lowest total (68.5) after trading away starterChris Sale this offseason. The Milwaukee Brewers (69.5) and San Diego Padres (67.5) are the only other teams with win totals in the 60s.
