CHICAGO (WLS) -- LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, close friends and former Miami Heat teammates, had an exchange Saturday on Twitter about a World Series wager.

James plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade, a Chicago native, now plays for the Bulls.

"We're both wine drinkers, so it'll probably come to that," James said Monday. "He actually has his own wine too, that will probably figure in. We both got kids, so we'll figure something out."

James and Wade finalized their bet this week. Wade posted this video message overnight:

"If the Indians win the World Series, he has to wear an Indians uniform when he comes here and if the Cubs win it, I have wear a Cubs uniform when we play in the United Center," James said.

Here's what James responded with after the Cubs fell to the Indians in Game 1:

James said he and most of the Cavaliers planned to attend Game 2 on Wednesday night.

ABC WORLD SERIES BET

ABC7 Eyewitness News and the ABC affiliate in Cleveland also made a friendly World Series wager.

The morning team at News 5 Cleveland said if the Cubs defeat the Indians, they'll send "some of the most coveted Christmas ale you can find in Cleveland."

If the Indians win, ABC7 will send them lots of Chicago goodies, including Lou Malnati's pizza, Eli's Cheesecake and Vienna Beef hot dogs. Thanks to Taste of Chicago and Clark Street Sports for making Chicago's spread so impressive!
