Beckham Zobrist got his Christmas wish: A Cubs eyeball.

Zobrist, now 7 years old, was diagnosed with retinoblastoma -- a form of eye cancer -- in March 2012. To prevent the cancer from spreading to his brain, he needed to have his eye removed.

But after some kids teased him on the T-ball field and at school, he made a wish to Santa to get a new eye.

Santa delivered big time, giving him a prosthetic eye that had the Chicago Cubs logo on it, leaving the kids who once teased him awestruck.

And even better, Zobrist's spirit garnered the attention of his favorite baseball team.

From WGN:

The Chicago Cubs invited him to a game, gave him a tour of Wrigley Field and the clubhouse, and also gave him the opportunity to meet players such as Anthony Rizzo, Jon Lester and Kyle Schwarber.

"He's my idol," Cubs bench coach Dave Martinez told WGN. "And I look up to him and other kids like him that's gone through what he's gone through and wish him all the best."
