Days after the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years, fans are -- rightfully -- still celebrating.

The college football world wasn't exempt from joining in on the celebration of the century, especially not in nearby Evanston, just north of Chicago, where the Northwestern Wildcats took on the Wisconsin Badgers in Saturday afternoon Big Ten action.

During halftime, the Northwestern marching band played "Go Cubs Go" and formed the Cubs' logo.

The University of Illinois' marching band also performed the tune at halftime of the Fighting Illini'sgame against the Michigan State Spartans.

Saturday's musical tributes are further proof that no, this was not a dream. The Cubs did, in fact, win the World Series. Go, Cubs, go.
