Oregonhas added Notre Damegraduate transfer Matt Hegarty to its 2015 roster.
The fifth-year senior could be an immediate contributor at center as the Ducks' O-line looks for someone to step into the shoes of four-year starting center Hroniss Grasu.
Hegarty announced in March that he would play his fifth year elsewhere after starting 11 of the final 13 games for the Irish at center and guard. That bodes well for Hegarty as Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood likes for his offensive linemen to be versatile, a trait that served the Ducks well last season when they experienced several injuries along the line.
