CHICAGO -- Pau Gasol's left hamstring strain is still expected to keep him out of Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Chicago Bullscoach Tom Thibodeau said Monday that Gasol wasn't able to do anything at practice besides rehab work.
Before Tuesday's shootaround, Thibodeau didn't have much more to offer.
"We'll see what he can do in shootaround," Thibodeau said. "[I was told] that he's feeling a little better. But obviously he has to go through shootaround and feel good enough, warm up tonight, and we'll see where he is. ... Pau knows his body well. He's been around a long time so we'll just trust how he feels."
Gasol said he initially injured his hamstring in Game 2 and tried to play through the injury in Game 3, but was taken out of the game after scoring just six points in 22 minutes. An MRI on Saturday confirmed the strain, and he sat out Game 4. Bulls power forward Taj Gibson started in Gasol's absence on Sunday, scoring six points and grabbing eight rebounds.
Game 5 is Tuesday night in Cleveland.
