A piece of the Staples Center game floor specially made for Kobe Bryant's last game sold for $179,100.
The piece, four panels measuring four feet by eight feet each, had Kobe's former number 8 on it and was signed by Bryant after he scored 60 points in his final game on April 13.
It was the sixth 60-point game of Bryant's career and marked the most points scored by a player in his final regular-season game. No Hall of Famer reached 30 points in his final game, with John Havlicek's 29 in 1978 leading the way.
A spokesperson for the NBA, which conducted the auction online on behalf of the Lakers Youth Foundation, said the buyer wanted to remain anonymous.
A towel Bryant wore during and after the game was sold last week by Heritage Auctions for $8,365.
