Source: WR Kendall Wright, Bears agree to terms on 1-year, $4M deal

Former Tennessee Titans receiver Kendall Wright has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears, the team announced.The contract is worth up to $4 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

A shifty receiver, Wright was the Titans' first-round pick in 2012, 20th overall, out ofBaylor.

In his second season, he caught 94 passes for 1,079 yards. That was one of just two 1,000-yard seasons by a Titans wide receiver in the past dozen years.

But his style didn't jibe with what then-coach Ken Whisenhunt was looking for in 2014 and 2015. Last season, with Mike Mularkey at the helm, Wright was deployed almost exclusively as the Titans' slot receiver. The team ran the third-fewest plays in the NFL with three wide receivers or more.

Wright, 27, played in all 16 games only once in his career, as injuries have slowed him. He missed the first three games of 2016 with a hamstring issue that also cost him most of training camp. He was deactivated for the team's Dec. 11 win over Denver after he was late for meetings the day before, and the Titans didn't dress him for the regular-season finale.

Wright will turn 28 on Nov. 12.
