MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins postponed their second straight game against the Chicago White Soxbecause of a spring snowstorm.

The team announced the postponement about four hours before Saturday's first pitch. No makeup dates for either game were announced.

The National Weather Service predicted 4 to 8 inches of snow with blustery winds.

This was the third game this week postponed at Target Field and the first time there were back-to-back postponements in the stadium's nine seasons. The Twins also called off the finale of their home-opening series against Seattle last Sunday.

On Saturday, Minnesota's Lance Lynn had been scheduled to start, with Jake Odorizzi going Sunday.

The White Sox had been considering using Reynaldo Lopez, who was supposed to start Friday. Miguel Gonzalez and Carson Fulmer were also set to pitch in the series.
