Mike Glennon's tenure as the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears is off to a rough start, and his performance against the Green Bay Packers did not instill any confidence in the Bears' faithful.
As Glennon struggles, No. 2 pick Mitchell Trubisky remains on the sidelines. After Chicago's 35-14 loss on Thursday night, head coach John Fox said, "We will evaluate everything."
Does that mean it's time to give the rookie quarterback the starting job? Who should lead the offense next week against the Minnesota Vikings?
Glennon, who signed a three-year, $45 million contract this offseason, has struggled to find his playmakers and make accurate throws. According to ESPN Stats & Information, all five of Glennon's interceptions this season have been the result of off-target passes, tied for the most in the NFL. On Thursday, Glennon accounted for four turnovers, including two fumbles.
While Trubisky has yet to see regular-season action, the 23-year-old looked impressive in the preseason.
