TORONTO -- White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia left Monday's game at Toronto in the second inning with a recurrence of soreness in his right knee.
He was replaced by J.B. Shuck.
The White Sox said Garcia is day to day. Garcia returned to the lineup Sunday after missing the previous two games with right knee inflammation. Shuck pinch hit for Garcia in the seventh inning of an 8-1 loss to Minnesota.
Garcia singled in his only at-bat, but was forced at second on Alexei Ramirez's double play grounder. He's batting .327 with four homers and 18 RBIs.
Garcia injured his knee on a slide in a May 17 victory at Oakland, but played four more games before sitting out two.
