Chicago Bears outside linebacker Willie Young has agreed to a two-year contract extension through 2018, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Young has said that he wants to retire with the Bears.

The 30-year-old Young moved from defensive end to outside linebacker in 2015, where he led the team with 12 tackles for loss and finished second on the defense in sacks (6.5).

He was entering the final season of a three-year contract. The seventh-year veteran played for the Detroit Lions from 2010 to 2013.
