CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you use your smartphone on a CTA subway line, get ready for better service.
The transit agency is expected to okay a new contract next week for work upgrading to 4G wireless service.
The $27 million project is then expected to begin in November.
The CTA say it is has the funds to pay for the work, but is aggressively trying to partner with a private-sector business to pick up some or all of the costs.
