None hurt after van catches fire on Kennedy Expressway

CHICAGO (WLS) -- No injuries were reported after a van caught fire on the outbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway Monday morning, Illinois State Police said.

The van caught fire on the Kennedy over Division Street and Chicago firefighters were seen battling the flames at about 6:45 a.m. The fire was extinguished by 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported. All but two lanes traffic were blocked on the expressway as emergency crews responded, but all lanes were back open by 7:25 a.m.
