Truck fire jams traffic on I-55 early Thursday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Drivers were stuck in stuck in traffic for about three hours early Thursday after a semi truck caught fire on outbound Interstate 55 near Kedzie Avenue in Chicago.

Traffic is back to normal as of rush hour Thursday.

Big flames could be seen coming from the cab of the truck. The driver escaped unharmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
